01Who we are
Artemis Saint (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a creative direction and filmmaking practice based in the United Kingdom, operating artemissaint.com. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use this website or submit a project brief.
02Information we collect
When you submit a brief or create an account, we collect:
- Contact details — your name, email address and, if you provide them, your phone number, role and location.
- Project details — the brief, budget range, preferred dates and any add-ons you submit.
- Account information — if you create an account, authentication data managed by our login provider.
- Payment information — card details are entered directly with our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends, such as IP address, used for security and rate-limiting.
03How we use your information
We use your information to:
- review and respond to your brief;
- prepare quotes and manage your booking;
- take payment and issue receipts;
- send you transactional emails about your booking;
- keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.
04Legal bases for processing
Under UK GDPR we rely on the performance of a contract (to deliver a booking you have requested), our legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries, secure the site and run our practice) and, where required, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
05Who we share it with
We share your information only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Clerk — account authentication
- Convex — database and file storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Mux — video hosting and processing
- Vercel — website hosting
Each provides appropriate safeguards for any data processed outside the UK.
06Data retention
We keep booking and project information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. When it is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
07Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
08Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary for the website to function — primarily to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
09Security
Your data is held with reputable providers and encrypted in transit. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
